Bid Advertisement

Sealed proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, on September 9, 2025, at the Borough of Pennsbury Village offices located at 1043 Pennsbury Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read at 6:30 p.m. on that date at the Borough offices for the removal of snow and ice from all public roadways, parking areas and courts within the Borough. The term of the contract commences on October 1, 2025 and ends on September 30, 2028. Borough Council, at its sole discretion, may also accept the proposal for a one (1) year term. A voluntary pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Borough Offices on August 28, 2025, at 10:00 am to review contract provisions and proposal requirements.

All proposals shall be in accordance with the instructions and specifications set forth in the bidding documents and must be submitted on forms provided by the Borough in an envelope clearly marked “Sealed Proposal – Snow and Ice Removal Services.” Copies of the bidding documents relating thereto may be obtained at the Borough offices located at 1043 Pennsbury Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 or by contacting Bob Wable, Borough Manager, at 412-279-7876 or by e-mail at boropv@comcast.net.

Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the proposals received, and to accept the proposal which it deems to be in the best interest of the Borough.
